DOCUMENTO EDUCREA LAS ESCUELAS QUE TENEMOS   Es un estudio comparativo de trece escuelas santiaguinas que  atienden a niños de nivel socioeconómico similar, pero que obtienen resultados diferentes en las pruebas SIMCE.

El trabajo busca identificar los factores propios de la escuela que contribuyen a explicar las diferencias de aprendizaje,  independientemente de las diferencias de logro que podrían  atribuirse a factores del alumno (condición sociofamiliar).

Se centra en lo que sucede en  el aula y en las prácticas de gestión pedagógica.

Foco en un aprendizaje: lectura. Se estudia la iniciación a la  lectura en kínder, primero y segundo básico.

• Las escuelas se seleccionan en base a la prueba Simce de lenguaje de 4º básico.
