La investigación astronómica busca respuestas a menudo a preguntas tales como "¿De dónde venimos?" y "¿Estamos solos en el Universo?". A primera vista podríamos pensar que no habría ningún producto para el hogar que proviene de este tipo de investigación fundamental. ¡Pero estaríamos equivocados! En esta charla el Dr. Bruno Dias nos mostrará que aunque los subproductos tecnológicos no sean el objetivo fundamental de la investigación astronómica, sí que son a menudo una consecuencia secundaria. Bruno nos contará la historia de tres de estos subproductos y sus aplicaciones originales. Fuente.
