Metacognición, motivación y autoevaluación en el proceso lector

Se presenta una interesante relación entre metacognición, motivación y autoevaluación, indicando que la metacognición se genera cuando reconocemos que no sabemos algo, para luego determinar aquello que sabemos. Según el autor, este proceso de reconocimiento de lo que no se sabe, es un importante factor de motivación, pues nos incita a “reducir la incertidumbre” de aquello que no sabemos. En relación con la lectura, el autor expone que un sujeto lector que tiene un hábito metacognitivo, hace consciente su situación de aprendizaje, se conecta con elementos que motivan su aprendizaje y es capaz de autoevaluar dicho proceso.
