Con el fin de apoyar a las comunidades educativas en el proceso de inicio de actividades 2017, el Ministerio de Educación pone a su disposición el documento Orientaciones para la Planificación Curricular. Este texto busca enriquecer la labor pedagógica de directivos y docentes, promoviendo un trabajo coordinado que aborde los desafíos que hoy plantean los procesos de planificación de la enseñanza para el logro de los aprendizajes de todo el estudiantado.
